Ballyloughlin standing stone (sometimes known as Wateresk standing stone) can be found very close to Wateresk Portal Tomb .
The stone has had a dry stone wall built around it.
There is another smaller stone (which has fallen) just behind the wall.
The height of the stone is 3.2 meters and the width is 0.9 (with about the same in depth).
It is thought that they may have belonged to a much bigger structure.
The standing stone is located on a narrow country lane, so be very careful when viewing this site.
